Give a group of passionate stylists time to learn together, and there’s plenty to talk about.
Add salon leaders thinking about how to support that work, and the conversation gets even better.
That was the idea behind our recent two-day experience in New Orleans, where some of our incredible VoMor VIP members joined us for hands-on training and salon business consulting.
VoMor extension training brought the creative and business sides of extensions into the same experience, with room to practice, ask questions, and explore what’s ahead.
And yes, attendees got a little preview of new VoMor innovation. We’re keeping those details to ourselves for now, but we’re excited to share more when the time comes.
Hands-On VoMor Extension Training With Live Models

On the second day, stylists teamed up to work on live models, bringing the techniques they were learning into a real application experience.
There’s something valuable about being able to work through a process with other artists beside you. You can compare your approach, talk through a question, and see how the technique comes together as you work.
For this group, the live-model session gave the education a practical focus. The work was happening right in front of them, with time set aside to learn together.
That kind of practice is central to how we think about VoMor education: giving salon teams opportunities to develop their skills and feel more comfortable bringing extensions into conversations behind the chair.
Salon Leaders Explored the Business Side of Extensions

While stylists worked with models, salon leaders gathered for a different side of the conversation.
Their focus was how extensions could fit into their businesses and help bring fresh energy to their teams.
How can an extension offering become part of a salon’s growth plans? How can leaders support stylists who are excited to develop a new skill? What does it take to turn that interest into a service the team feels prepared to offer?
Those questions matter alongside the application itself.
An artist may leave training ready to keep practicing. A leader can help create the space and support for that learning to continue. Bringing both perspectives into the experience gave teams a chance to think about what comes next together.
A First Look at What’s Ahead for VoMor

Part of the excitement was the opportunity to explore new VoMor innovation.
We’re leaving the specifics under wraps for now. What we can share is how much we value bringing our community into the learning process as we look toward what’s next.
For attendees, this was a chance to get hands-on and spend time with other professionals who care about the craft.
For us, it was another opportunity to connect with the stylists and salon leaders who bring VoMor to life every day.
Thank You to the Salons Who Joined Us

We loved spending these two days with members of our VoMor community.
Thank you to the teams representing Paris Parker Prytania, Davanti, Pavo, Diversions, Styles on Broadway, Avantgarde, and Posh of Williamsburg for joining us in New Orleans.
From Paris Parker here in Louisiana to the salons who traveled to be part of the experience, we appreciate the time you made for learning and connection.
Every person brought their own salon perspective into the room. That’s part of what makes gathering together so worthwhile.
Would You Join Us for a Future VoMor Training Experience?
This gathering got us thinking about the value of bringing stylists and salon leaders together for focused education.
